Bamyan Jewellery began in 2000 with a small table in Portobello Market, where Najaf sold amber he brought back from Poland. What started simply has grown over the years into a family business, built with love, creativity and a genuine passion for jewellery.
Today, Najaf and his family and team personally source pearls, gemstones and unique stones from around the world, thoughtfully designing and handcrafting each piece. Alongside our own collections, we create bespoke jewellery so that everyone can find — or create — something that feels truly their own.
From our little table in Portobello to customers all over the world, we have grown, but the heart of Bamyan has stayed the same: every piece is made with thought, care and love.
From Pearl Farms to Portobello
Najaf travels to source our pearls and stones personally, building relationships with the people behind them and carefully selecting the materials we bring home to London. Each pearl begins its journey here, long before it becomes part of a Bamyan piece.
