Bamyan Jewellery began with a small table on Portobello Road, where Najaf first started selling amber he had personally brought back from Poland. What began simply has grown over the years into a much bigger family, with our jewellery now finding its way to customers all over the world.

At the heart of Bamyan is Najaf’s love for discovering beautiful natural materials. He personally searches for stones and pearls from around the world, choosing each one for its colour, character, quality and individuality before bringing them back to London to become part of our collections. From pearls and amber to colourful natural stones, every strand and stone has been thoughtfully selected rather than simply ordered from a catalogue.

Together with his team, Najaf is involved in every part of the creative process — sourcing the materials, experimenting with different combinations, developing new designs and creating bespoke pieces around what each customer is looking for. We believe that every stone has its own character, history and properties, which is why no two pieces ever feel quite the same.
